Several tools were not working as of January 2026. The Mapping TRI (accessed at the bottom row of the tiles) is functioning and can be used to examine information on TRI releases in different states and communities. You can click on any state to open a summary. In the summary, there will be an embedded map with county information. You can zoom in further and get zip code level information, and further to get specific facility information. At the bottom of the state and county reports, there are buttons to click to download the TRI data.

Technical specifications
Toxic releases are self reported by covered sources. Facilities must report the quantities of TRI-listed chemicals they release into the environment and send off site for disposal or other release.
