Founded in 2018, through the Bloomberg Mayors Challenge, the city of Denver created Love My Air. Love My Air is a citywide monitoring network to provide real-time air quality data utilizing cutting-edge air pollution technology. Through collaboration with many community organizations and partners, Love My Air provides workshops, trainings, and outreach connecting health to air quality.

"Reducing emissions from diesel engines is one of the most important air quality challenges facing the country. Even with more stringent federal heavy-duty highway and nonroad engine standards set to take effect over the next decade, millions of diesel engines already in use will continue to emit large amounts of nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and air toxics, which contribute to serious public health problems. Diesel retrofits can significantly reduce harmful air pollutants, improve the working environment of those operating diesel-powered equipment, and reduce smoke and odor from diesel engines. Diesel retrofit devices usually are not original equipment but are installed on a vehicle just prior to or after it has been serviced."

The Health Impact Assessment site on Community Commons is an online library and hub for all things related to health impact assessment (HIA) and Health in All Policies. It hosts a searchable, filterable database of hundreds of completed HIAs, a national map to explore them by geography, vital conditions, and priority populations, and collections of guides, briefs, datasets, and training resources to help users conduct and apply HIAs in practice. Designed for communities, agencies, and practitioners, the site supports integrating health, equity, and well‑being considerations into policies, plans, and investments across sectors such as housing, transportation, planning, and education.
