WRF-Chem is the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model coupled with Chemistry. The development of WRF-Chem has been a collaborative effort among the community, led by NOAA GSL. For more detail see the official WRF-Chem webpage (not reachable as of October 1, 2024).
Web interface providing tools for downloading actual and permitted emissions for either release points (facilities) within a defined radius, or summarized by parish. Downloadable data also includes detailed information about individual sources, including release parameters, e.g. flow rates, release heights, etc. Users can also download a point source emissions inventory for years 1991-2025.
The Air Pollutants Exposure Model (APEX) is a PC-based model that was derived from the probabilistic NAAQS Exposure Model for carbon monoxide (pNEM/CO)
"PurpleAir makes sensors that empower communities who collect hyper-local, real-time, air quality data and share it with the public."
AQMIS provides a combination of preliminary (real-time) and official (historical) data
Inventory of oil, gas, and petrochemical infrastructure in the U.S. Provides information on permitting status of infrastructure. Reports are accessed through a searchable mapping tool. Reports provide information on potential emissions, demographic information around facilities, and information on projects and permits.
The CDC Outdoor Air Quality Communications Toolkit is a specialized public health resource designed for health departments, professionals, and emergency responders to communicate the risks of air pollution to the general public.
"We are on a mission to bring accurate and affordable air quality monitoring to every corner of the planet and we are supported by a community of more than 30,000 engaged citizens who have already deployed an AirGradient monitor. To maximize our impact, we have completely open-sourced and shared our monitor design so that others can build upon it."
Clearinghouse for Inventories and Emissions Factors (CHIEF) is a collection of EPA resources dealing with air emissions data, estimates, monitoring, reporting, modeling and inventories
