Benefits of reducing PM and ozone precursors on a per-ton basis
Real TIme Geospatial Data Viewer (RETIGO) is a free, web-based tool that can be used to explore environmental data that you have collected either stationary or in motion (e.g., air quality sensors added to a bike).
This resource, managed by the EPA Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations (OCIR), serves as the primary gateway for state, local, and tribal officials to navigate federal environmental resources, funding, and collaboration frameworks
The Air District works closely with the California Air Resources Board to reduce the amount of air pollution from on- and off-road mobile sources, such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and recreational vehicles. This site describes how BAAQMD is reducing emissions from mobile sources.
In collaboration with the EPA, CMAS is developing a suite of local-scale air quality screening tools called C-TOOLS (Community Air Quality Tools). These tools predict concentrations of multiple primary pollutants that are directly emitted (CO, SO2, NOx, PM2.5) and select Mobile Source Air Toxics (benzene, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and acrolein) at fine spatial scales in the near-source environment.
Tool to evaluate changes in emissions from power plants and vehicles resulting from energy policies and programs such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, electric vehicles, and energy storage. The tool can be run online or downloaded as a spreadsheet model. Each has somewhat different functionality.
Case study demonstrating methods for evaluating the emissions, transportation, and health impacts of infill development (building on vacant, underutilized, or bypassed land within already developed, existing urban or suburban areas).
Website for the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program which provides a funding source for State and local governments to fund transportation projects and programs to help meet the requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA).
Very short description of the Port of Los Angeles Clean Truck Fund Rate program, which funds zero-emission trucks.
