How do I use this resource?
The web tool provides access to monitored air quality levels for criteria pollutants in Minnesota. You can map individual pollutants, and view individual years (use the slider bar in the upper right corner of the map). The map displays the data as a percent of the current standard. If you click on a monitor location in the “Criteria Pollutants Map” view, it will bring up metadata for the site, as well as the yearly metric that comports with the ambient standard. You can also use the “Criteria Pollutant Bar Chart” to show the measured design values compared across monitoring locations and referenced to the standard of interest. You can view a time series plot of the pollutants compared to the standard (in percentage) for 2001 to 2024. You can view the annual design values in tabular form in the “Values Table” section. You can download all of the monitor data as a CSV file using the “Download Data” menu item.
