Sector: Energy generation
Tool for mapping numbers of facilities and emissions at the census tract, county, and state level for Wisconsin. Also provides graphs of trends in emissions over time from 2015-2024.
Provide air quality data and insights that help people reduce their exposure to pollution.
Emissions inventories for multiple source sectors collected from state air quality agencies by the Environmental Integrity Project. Inventories are available for multiple years which differ across states. Links are also provided to state inventory websites.
VERDI is a Java program for visualizing meteorology, emissions, and air quality modeling data. With options for overlaying GIS Shapefiles and observational data onto model output, VERDI offers a range of options for viewing atmospheric modeling data. VERDI scripting provides a powerful interface for automating the production of graphics for analyzing your data.
Map of permitted facilities in FL with emissions information.
WRF-Chem is the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model coupled with Chemistry. The development of WRF-Chem has been a collaborative effort among the community, led by NOAA GSL. For more detail see the official WRF-Chem webpage (not reachable as of October 1, 2024).
Web interface providing tools for downloading actual and permitted emissions for either release points (facilities) within a defined radius, or summarized by parish. Downloadable data also includes detailed information about individual sources, including release parameters, e.g. flow rates, release heights, etc. Users can also download a point source emissions inventory for years 1991-2025.
The Air Pollutants Exposure Model (APEX) is a PC-based model that was derived from the probabilistic NAAQS Exposure Model for carbon monoxide (pNEM/CO)
