Data, tools, and resources to conduct research, develop web and mobile applications, design data visualizations, and more.
A tool used to quantify the number and economic value of air pollution-attributable deaths and illnesses
In collaboration with the EPA, CMAS is developing a suite of local-scale air quality screening tools called C-TOOLS (Community Air Quality Tools). These tools predict concentrations of multiple primary pollutants that are directly emitted (CO, SO2, NOx, PM2.5) and select Mobile Source Air Toxics (benzene, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and acrolein) at fine spatial scales in the near-source environment.
"Action taken by all cities, of every size and in every country, will play a part in securing a climate-safe future. The C40 Knowledge Hub exists to help cities succeed by making the knowledge, experience and advice of those toward the head of the curve accessible to all. We cover everything you should know about tried-and-tested solutions and emerging ideas – making sense of what they are, how to deliver them, and leading examples – to offer a breadth and depth across urban climate sectors that you cannot find elsewhere."
