Topic: Air quality data
The Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (TEMPO) Nitrogen Dioxide Vertical Column Troposphere Provisional layer provides information on the amount of nitrogen dioxide in the troposphere, available as approximately one-hour scans for daylight hours over North America, from August 2023 to September 2025. These data should be considered as provisional products, which are potentially ready for testing by operational users and may be suitable for scientific publication. The data is obtained from NASA's Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) .
The resource provided is the Communication Toolkit on Communicating on Air Quality and Health, developed as part of the Urban Air – Pro-Air Quality (UA-PAQ) initiative. This initiative is a collaborative effort involving various European and international partners, often focusing on city-level air quality management
Data, tools, and resources to conduct research, develop web and mobile applications, design data visualizations, and more.
Aggregates emission and air quality data from agencies like the EPA, NOAA, and NASA.
Provide air quality data and insights that help people reduce their exposure to pollution.
VERDI is a Java program for visualizing meteorology, emissions, and air quality modeling data. With options for overlaying GIS Shapefiles and observational data onto model output, VERDI offers a range of options for viewing atmospheric modeling data. VERDI scripting provides a powerful interface for automating the production of graphics for analyzing your data.
WRF-Chem is the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model coupled with Chemistry. The development of WRF-Chem has been a collaborative effort among the community, led by NOAA GSL. For more detail see the official WRF-Chem webpage (not reachable as of October 1, 2024).
AQMIS provides a combination of preliminary (real-time) and official (historical) data
"PurpleAir makes sensors that empower communities who collect hyper-local, real-time, air quality data and share it with the public."
